Location

Our delightful home is situated on the outskirts of Stoke Row and Checkendon. We live in a designated area of outstanding beauty, with wonderful country walks and cycle rides, and some great pubs! At our Bed and Breakfast, we strive to offer an experience akin to that of a boutique hotel, where relaxation and value go hand in hand. From the cozy, thoughtfully designed rooms to the personalized service, we ensure that every moment of your stay is tailored to enhance your comfort. Our goal is for you to unwind fully, enjoying the little luxuries and warm touches that make your stay special. When you leave, we want you to feel rejuvenated and confident that your time with us was not only relaxing but truly worth every penny.

In the village, The Cherry Tree pub serves delicious food and offers garden seating during warmer weather. Another local gem is The Crooked Billet, a renowned Gastro Pub that attracts visitors from far and wide, all drawn by its unspoiled rustic charm. Just a short walk through the woods, you'll find The Black Horse, where you can always count on good beer and great company.

The Maharajah's Well is located less than 1 mile from our house, in the centre of Stoke Row and there is a coffee shop across the road from it where you can partake in light refreshments.

Explore the picturesque South Oxfordshire countryside, just a stone's throw from the charming market town of Henley on Thames, renowned for its Royal Regatta, Henley Festival, and 80s Rewind Festival. A bit further afield, you'll find the towns of Marlow, Reading, Oxford, and Windsor, each offering its own unique attractions. The M4 and M40 are within easy reach, and Heathrow Airport is just a 45-minute drive away. Please note, having a car is essential for getting around.
